About Occhipinti Pasta

Occhipinti Pasta is the promise of tradition, purity, and uncompromising craft. Born from a Sicilian kitchen where semolina and water were all a family ever needed, our pasta is the result of a lifetime devoted to doing one thing extraordinarily well. Founded in Bradford, Massachusetts, by Chef Joseph A. Occhipinti, every batch is made to the highest standards: semolina flour and filtered water — and nothing else. No eggs. No preservatives. No shortcuts. Never frozen. Just pasta, made the way generations of Italian families always intended.

Joseph’s story begins at a wooden table in a flour‑dusted home where his mother’s nightly call — “Joey, time for dinner” — marked the rhythm of family life. He learned the feel of properly worked semolina dough, the patience of shaping each strand, and the reverence for simple ingredients that feed both body and soul. Sundays were long, slow celebrations of sauce, meatballs, sausages, and braciole; his father’s hand‑crank machine and family presses turned out cavatelli, gnocchi, ravioli, and specialty shapes for hours. Those rituals became the foundation of a craft he would refine for more than fifty years.

After a distinguished career in the world’s finest kitchens that spans over five decades, Chef Joseph returned to what mattered most: bringing that exacting standard of culinary leadership and passion to every box he makes. Occhipinti Pasta is the culmination of that lifetime of mastery. We combine time‑tested tradition with rigorous standards of production so each shape, bite, and texture honors the past while delivering consistency and quality you can rely on for a lifetime.

We believe the purest food is often the most nourishing. In Sardinia — one of the world’s five Blue Zones — semolina pasta made from durum wheat and water has been a daily staple for centuries. That same two‑ingredient truth is what goes into every box of Occhipinti Pasta: no additives, no processing, just grain, water, and craft. This is not a trend; it is a tradition that supports longevity and a life well lived.

Rooted in Bradford, we serve families across North of Boston and Southern New Hampshire, and select Occhipinti Pasta lines are available for shipping. A portion of every sale supports the Sacred Hearts Food Pantry — because our mission, “Feeding the World One by One,” is more than a line on a label. It is the reason we rise each morning to make pasta that honors the past and nourishes the future.

Today, Chef Joseph teaches his grandchildren the same techniques and values he learned as a boy, ensuring this craft — and the love behind it — endures.
